Privacy and Cookie Policy
This policy explains what personal data SAME Architects processes when you visit this site, why, and what your rights are. This is an institutional site: it does not sell products or process payments.
1. Data controller
SAME Architects, with offices at Rua Santa Margarida 239, 4710-306 Braga, Portugal. For any question about your data, contact office@samearchitects.com.
2. What data we collect
- Contact form and email: when you write to us, we process the details you provide (name, email, subject, message and, if attached, the file you send), solely to reply to you.
- Usage data (analytics cookies): if you consent, we collect aggregated statistics about your browsing (pages viewed, duration, device type) in a way that does not identify you.
We do not create user accounts, do not process payments and do not collect special categories of data (such as health or financial data).
3. Purposes and legal basis (GDPR)
- Replying to enquiries: based on your consent and on our legitimate interest in following up on your request.
- Usage analytics: only with your consent, given through the cookie banner.
4. Cookies
This site uses two kinds of cookies:
- Essential (always on): they only store your cookie choice, so we do not ask again on every visit. They are not used to track or identify you.
- Analytics (optional): they help us understand how the site is used, anonymously and in aggregate. They are only enabled if you accept them.
You can change your choice at any time in Cookie settings.
5. Who we share with
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. We only use service providers needed to run the site (hosting, email delivery and, if you consent, traffic analytics), who process the data on our behalf and under contract.
6. How long we keep it
We keep contact messages only as long as needed to reply and follow up. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form, according to the provider's settings.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you may request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to its processing. To exercise these rights, write to office@samearchitects.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy whenever necessary. The date of the last update is shown below.
